Instead of Channel 2.4 GHz use 6 or 1
So, Orbi wifi is auto set it will automatically select a channel say 2.4 GHz. But if you are experiencing issues while using the Orbi we recommend a switch to either 6 or 1 channel.
Set Static IP Address
If the IP address of the device is set to dynamic then it may result in a problem.
So, to fix the issue you need to set as many devices as possible to static IP address. When devices are constantly reconnecting, dynamic IP addresses can create issues.
Lower the Transmit Power
Sometimes the devices may connect to the wrong access point and as a result, you may come across Orbi wifi not working problem.
If this is the reason for the problem then try setting 2.4 GHz 50% and 5GHz to 75%. Once this is done the devices will not connect to the incorrect power source.
Set Another SSID for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Channel
In the case of Orbi wifi, it uses the same SSID for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channel bands. Sometimes the device may keep switching to 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band.
So, if this is the problem you can resolve it by changing the SSIDs for both these bands.
Update the Firmware
